They were top 5 in scoring in the NBA...
The Celtics were 13th in offensive efficiency during the regular season, 24th in EFG% and 21th in TS%. Scoring help is definitely needed.

4th in ppg... thats all that matters in the end..

Crowder is not clutch! AB is overrated on offense. He's at best a backup not a starter. I would take Dwight yes and he may be a piece in the right direction but we need shooting. IT was shut down in the playoffs and no one else stepped up. Please don't say AB would of saved us or even KO.

Crowder won or forced overtime in 4-5 games last season... did you not watch any games?

not really.

they played really fast so both them and their opponents get more opportunities to score than in the average game. This skews both ppg and points allowed per game.

yeah its also not ridiculous to suggest that had 2 of our 3 best shooters been healthy we would have been more successful in a series where arguably our biggest downfall was floor spacing.

True... and this where Dwight comes into play... opposing 2nd chance points will be cut dramatically ..

Also dont forget the Celtics allowed around 100ppg which is somewhere in the middle of the NBA ..

This off season is a a win if
1. C'S sign KD
2. C's don't trade/sell the farm for a player outside the Nba's top 10 players.
2. C's don't over pay for a mediocre player in FA.
3. C's don't retain Sully
4. C's don't carry a guard bloated roster into the regular season. No more tiny ball.
