With Brooklyn and the Knicks addressing their PG needs, where does Rondo sign? Perhaps he heads back to Sacramento....

Stop it! You're just asking to get us Butler now! lol

That'd be a horrible pairing. Butler will honestly be the de-facto point guard now with the ball in his hands most of the time, and Rondo will want the ball almost exclusively, too.

“Being a Celtic is, every decision you make is about the team. Every cut you make is about the team. Every pass you make is about the team. You take yourself out of it. It’s not for everyone. If you don’t want to win, don’t want to play team basketball, and it’s more about you then you’re probably not a Celtic." Doc 2010

I guess the Pelicans might be an option if they want to move on from the Evans-Holiday partnership. Or back to Sac or to Philly. Unless the Nets are still in play. Still think Chi town is an option though, talent is talent!

His style of play has morphed into a style of the 60's. In todays day and age, nobody wants a point guard that can't score well, but has the ball in his hand all the time. Not to mention his surly personality.

Back to the Kings, I'd say normally say, but he kind of burnt the bridge there too.

NBA career done.

His prime in Boston was amazing, though.

Chicago would be hilarious. Their fans still hate him for that 2009 playoff series and the Hinrich/Miller incidents.

I actually think the Pelicans would work out great.

Was thinking this too. Lin makes for a good 6th man. Would be surprised if they settled on him as the starter.

I mean - Sacramento is BADLY run. Do they have another point guard on the roster? Who would want to coach there - only suboptimal candidates when you have a coach killer like Cousins (who I hate and who I think everyone should hate) on the team.

But who wants Rondo? The Bucks? Ricky Rubio is available in trade now, and he's basically Rondo without the grumpiness. It's a marriage of derision and inconvenience - but I think the Kings and Rondo stick together.

They've got too many holes elsewhere to make their 2 big-ticket items PGs. I expect them to go after Bazemore and Ryan Anderson with their remaining cash.
