I'm not sure if are going to go directly from a first round playoff exit team to a championship team.  We might have to take one step in that direction and worry about trades next year.

I loved Deng 5 years ago (or maybe it was even more, hard to remember).  He always played great defense on Pierce and had a solid/productive all around game.  I can't see paying him now to play out of position at PF.  I prefer we find an actual PF or C to add to the team.

Being in play for Durant hamstrings us from going after other guys right now. Hope he is really serious about Interest in Boston.

Right. Ainge would be foolish to put all his eggs in one basket with Durant. Especially when it looks like he's staying in OKC.  They should be blowing Horford out of the water right now with an offer exceeding what OKC can do to get him. Ainge has to stick with the needs up front.
