That is awful. $9mil a year for a below average backup PG.

I think it's really good. He's a nominal PG who doesn't need the ball in his hands and is a great shooter. He's a perfect with Simmons.
he is an improvement over the d-league dross philly has been trotting out for the past few years.

i guess it is offical. philly actually wants to field a nba team instead of a d league team. the intentional tank must be over....for now.

I got to agree that that is the worst of the contracts I have seen so far. Bayless is not even a starting quality NBA point guard. To get signed to a contract for basically the same amount as Al Jefferson, who is a much better player, is insane. He moves the needle so little I had to confirm he actually played for us.
It is much better than the Turner and Mozgov contracts.  Bayless 3pt shooting has been inconsistent but last year he shot 43.7% playing off the ball with the Greek Freak.  He'll play the same role on the Sixes with Simmons.

Mike Conley with the richest contract in NBA history.

Amazing.  I remember back when he was drafted people were like, "He only got taken that high, because he played with Greg Oden"... Good for him.

Horford to atl >:(

Would you stop with this? Either post a credible reference with it or not at all. I haven't found anything credible saying this right now. Further, he's meeting RIGHT NOW with the C's...

We are on an NBA message board in the offseason. So everyone here is emotionally invested in the team. Erroneous reports are not welcome
