That was quick.

They'll still be a step below Cleveland without improving their roster.

Good. Lakers miss out again. Not that they were ever seriously gonna get him (unless you're Stephen A Smith)
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Looks like Biyombo won't be getting paid, at least by the Raptors.

This deal is a bargain compared to some of the other ones getting signed.  At least you're getting a legitimate all star for your max money.

[dang].

I do like Derozan, but that is a LOT of money over a LOT of time just to re-sign a guy you already have.  I mean it's not like they are adding a player who will improve their team - they're paying that money just to remain at the same level s they already were - which is (for the most part) "inadequate".

Considering that he'll still be on that contract after the TV deal expires and the cap potentially drops hard again, that could cripple the Raptors really hard for a good couple year or two.

He's just a not efficient scorer with no 3pts skill. For a SF allstar, it's almost a joke.
Good for Toronto to stay in the playoff.
Good for us, Toronto is out of the contention picture. They don't improve.

I was hoping he would join the Lakers so we could get him out of our hair in the East (I really did not see him being "The Man" to lead the Lakers back to contention). As it stands right now, the Raptors are still a better team than us.
