It's happening guys... the chance grows everyday.
KD to Boston starts to look like a reality.

I don't think being the first or the last really makes a difference, the only thing that matters is to give the best pitch, the one that will stick in Durant's mind regardless of its timing.

I wonder if its possible to have Durant jet up to Boston for the meeting. It would be nice to have the meeting under 17 championship banners. ;D

"We're sorry, Kevin, that there isn't much light in here, but those darned championship banners block it all out."

I think they'd be thrilled if they get to meet with him at all before he decides.

This x100000000 and I'm not holding my breath that it actually happens

I'm not sure what's so unbelievable about it now. Literally every media outlet has reported that we have a meeting with him, and now it's been scheduled for Saturday.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

The idea is that he makes his decision before his meeting with us.

It's actually Saturday. That report of the 4th was wrong.

Of course, the last meeting is the best one... you know, the one where Durant signs on the dotted line.

Edit: Meeting is on Saturday, not on Monday. Thread topic is wrong and so was WEEI.

Depending on who goes first on Saturday between us and San Antonio, we might essentially be the last meeting with Miami being the longest of long shots.

The idea of Riley having the last pitch, assuming KD is intent on hearing everyone out before making a decision, should absolutely terrify everyone in the NBA

I was talking myself into optimism for a minute here, but OKC's ability to sign Horford ruined this pipe dream for me.  :blank:

Naw, I'm not scared. Whiteside is almost assuredly gone to another team, Bosh is almost assuredly being forced to medically retire, and their only other star is sending out feelers to other teams due to a dispute with management about how much he's worth. I just don't see the appeal for Miami whatsoever.
