This is the third highly rated prospect who's gotten hurt now. Dennis Smith had his knee issues (let's see if he can stay healthy), Giles had his third knee surgery a few weeks ago, and reportedly suffered a setback a few days ago, and now Tatum.

It's very early, but 3 top tier prospects might be injury prone. Couple that with Brooklyn looking better than last year, and you have to wonder: should we look into trading the pick while the league-wide perception of Brooklyn is still that they're gonna be the worst?
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

I'm not sure that at this point in time there's really that much interest in it being so far away from knowing its final place. I still think we ought to wait until the inevitable Kings collapse combined with the Nets' suckitude nets us Boogie.

Or do enough cross training.

Our teens need to go back to playing multiple sports to avoid this kind of thing.  Playing just one-sport, day in and day out all year long, from age 14 onward causes these types of over-usage kind of injuries.

It's why there's more injuries than ever to our pro athletes, despite how much better they are being cared after & prepared.

Agree. My wife is a PT and say's the stress that goes on the kids bodies is too much. They're still growing and the constant pounding of joints , bones ligaments are hell. They should have at least one off day, probably two until they're older. Body needs rest to grow strong muscles and heal anything that is aggravated that could be come a bigger issue later down the road.

Could be a blessing.... We have a couple first rounders.  It would be nice if another Sulley dropped to our Clippers/Memphis pick.  (not sure if its this year)

Sulley played over his contract.   It was just to bad he was our best option at PF.   Having him come off our bench for 3/4 million would have been nice.

We only have a single 1st rounder in the 2017 draft.  The Clippers/Memphis picks are protected 2019 picks.  Here's a good site for draft pick info.
