Look how it turned out. Top 3 players are supposed to be a sure thing. Who was those 3 guys? Lebron, Melo and guess who's the last guy.

Bosh and Wade was regarded as wild cards. And what's surprising is Pat Riley was torn between Wade and Kaman. Both had successful careers but Wade brought championships to Miami.

What's the lesson? Don't believe the hype. Yes, even top most hyped prospects turns into busts too. See Michael Beasley and OJ Mayo. And you can't certainly tell if it's a two-man, three-man or whatever-man draft it is until you see how those prospects panned out.
