I hope for Kawhi Leonard.

My fear is Jeff Green or Nick Young or MKG.

My realistic expectation is maybe Gallinari. Maybe 75% of Kawhi or 105% of Wesley Matthews

Stop the comparisons. The kid is gonna be like Jaylen Brown. Don't expect to much from his this coming season, he's young. Two years from now will be a better understanding where he's at in his development.

I don't think he has a great comparison in the NBA, thus the Wade-McGrady-Carter-Leonard-Butler-etc. default stupid comparisons.

He will be an elite driver/foul drawer. He can go both hands, off both feet, off two feet, dunk, eurostep, sidestep, spin move, etc. I see a bit of Harden due to his size.

He will be an elite defender with is length, strength, and rebounding. I see a bit of Butler on defense.

He will be a good shooter, but due to his slow release, I don't think that part will ever be elite. Kinda' like Igoudala.

He will be a good passer, but primarily because he will have to pass to keep teams honest on his drives. Kind of like DeRozan.

There's not any one player that is a perfect comparison, but I like the abilities he brings to the table.

Becoming a player of at least Jeff Green's level means quite some success. He probably needs to add a lot to his game to be a good 3pt corner shooter, straight line dunker and reasonable Lebron defender

This year defense in short stints.  Next year excellent defense in slightly longer stints.

Year 3 a two way player with excellent defense.

Sort of an Iguodala freak on defense and in the transition game, who can be your strong #2 stud on a contender.

A lower tier comp that's been used is Jason Richardson, who had an excellent prime himself. That would be a #3 stud on a contender.

I expect a number three pick to be a starter in four years.

Wait. Did you just say Jeff Green is a good player? Maybe he is with Memphis or even OKC. But he pulled a Dominique Wilkins here. He was horrible.

I think he'll be an all-star. He's athletic and everyone acknowledges that but his ball skills are underrated. #2 option on a top team.

Honestly we could do much worse than getting "Jeff Green with better defense" in a weak draft filled with players widely seen as not having star potential.   Careful.  Reminds me of when people got upset at comparing Marcus smart to Tyreke Evans and two years later we are just hoping smart can someday be as good as Tony Allen.

I do think jaylen has a chance to be a special player but it probably will not happen for a few years at least.  Jimmy butler was like 5-6 years older when he finally developed into jimmy butler.

if he can produce Crowder's stats just for his rookie year, I am happy. I'm not even going to be greedy

A cross between peak MJ, LeBron, and Steph Curry. Nothing unreasonable about expecting a nineteen year-old to live up to these comparisons. As some others have said, he'll be Jaylen Brown, nothing else.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.
