Say we add Horford and Durant, what vets would take min to chase ring

So if we somehow do sign Durant, will it only be 1 year deal? Can't he make more money by only signing 1 year and cashing in next year. Would be 1 and gone if thing don't go well?

I'd look at Pau and Dudley, and Anderson.

Don't forget about the mid-level exception.  If we sign Durant and Horford to max, we could still get one very decent FA veteran at the MLE amount.

There's no MLE to be had, we don't gain those exceptions after using our cap space to sign players.

We could still go small with Crowder at PF, but having the ability to go big would be nice.

With that being said, you are asking this question too soon. First, what stars do we target trading for with our pile of assets and then find veteran minimum guys.

Agreed. Pau gives you nice flexibility as a 4/5 or in Stevens system a "Big" and he has the perfect skill set for Stevens to utilize.

How could we afford to bring in Pau as well?  I can't imagine he would sign for the vet min.
