Sources on @TheVertical: Kevin Durant's free agent meetings will be staged in the Hamptons on Long Island (N.Y.) Friday and Saturday.
Sounds like he's trying to get it done quick. 6 teams in 2 days. Wow.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

I wonder why KD is doing that. What is his real intention?
Are they just PR meetings, or just to get leverage over Presti to keep him in check.

I do still fear Rondo going to Brooklyn a bit. He's obviously not 2012 Rondo anymore and not really a good fit with the modern NBA, but he'd do just enough to get the Nets out of one of the top-two worst records in the league.

Idk man, he had a great bounce back year, which was great to see, as I'm a huge fan of his, obviously.  I'll never understand why people think he isn't a good fit with the modern NBA, though.  The best passer in the league will always have a place in the game, or at least he should, imo.  I don't mean to open up old wounds, here, but to those who say that he handles the ball too much - who would you rather have run your offense?  If Durant played with Rondo he'd average 40, lol ;D.

Spurs make Gasol a "real priority" this offseason

With them focused on consolation prizes like Gasoline and Conley, I wonder what that means with their Durant pursuit.

Lol.

Honestly wouldn't be surprised if he's already made his decision. Return to OKC. Probably just listening to pitches for the sake of listening to pitches.

Word around is JC isn't wanting to go back to the Clips. That'd be a pretty big blow for Doc, if so.

That's actually a coup for Detroit. They clear Meeks' $6.54 mil salary off their books, giving them more cap space to add a piece via FA before they settle Drummond's new contract.

i would be interested in learning why you believe bringing wade onto the celtics would be a good move.

wade had one of the worst seasons of his career (his RPM was -1.08 and his WS/48 was 1.05, which is about league average).

he has a lot of injuries. last year he did play in 74 games, but he's has only averaged 62 games played in his last 5 seasons. and please remember that he'll be 35 in january.

this team needs 3 point shooting, among other things. wade? he shot 15.9% from three point land last season and is 28.4% for his career. smart is better at it than wade.

i am sure some team will overpay for him, given his name and reputation. but i dont see whom he replaces on the celtics so as to give the celtics some sort of significant boost.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.
