Plan C -

2016  stats ---- 16.5 ppg 11 rpg 3.0 bpg  Looks like what we need.

Pau Gasol

I think he would come relatively inexpensive and would be temporary.  Probably 2 years max with a player option.

Not my ideal choice, but the guy can play.

Doubt he would have any interest in coming here.  Guys at that age are looking for another ring before retiring, could see him go to a team closer to the top.

Who's signing him?

Cav's have Love
Doesn't fit GS
He could replace Duncan in SA, but he and Aldridge play pretty similar games.
No room in OKC for him.

There are your contenders.

More I think about he'd be good in SA.  Not perfect, but good.

If they have no interest you never know.

Hell no.  He was a Laker.  It would be like when Johnny Damon signed with the Yankees - barf.  Boom boom Pau ;D is probably going to San Antonio, anyway, as he should, imo.  Idk why he didn't go there in 2014.

Whiteside is more likely.

Hell no.  He was a Laker.

He was a Laker, but I do not think he enjoyed his time there.

I love the stats, but he's going to want a ton of CASH and many people wonder about his motor.

Yeah, I mean, Shaq was a Laker and that worked out well for us. Boston loved him when he was a Celtic.

and Pau is a ton healthier than Shaq was.

Doesn't Shaq being a Celtic feel like some wierd dream.  Like it really didn't happen, but it did.
