I said he was the mentally and physically ready player this draft and I believe that to be true.   C's are building through the draft and taking the best talent for them instead of hoping to make a trade with Dunn.  I like it.  We need a SF anyways with Crowder here.  Brown has a chance to be Kawii Leonard player and is more ready than people think.  He's a Stevens pick and Stevens is not stupid.

It means they blew the pick.

It means the shooting is not getting any better anytime soon, folks.

I like that the C's stick to their guns.  A lot of talk and hype every year and they took Marcus and now Brown.  Two quality players and people who play defense and can score.

I just thought people loved Dunn so much Ainge was going to gamble on them but I like the pick for our team a lot.  Great fit for us.  I'm excited.

I don't mind it at all (especially as a Cal alum  ;)).  I firmly believe DA considers Brown the best player.  And it's nice not to have another small guard.

So it works.

I love this pick and this is exactly what I've been saying. This guys upside is a hyper athletic Kawhi Leonard. He's a two way player from day one, and if he can develop his jumper into a more consistent weapon he can be dangerous offensive player in this league. What I love about this pick is he actually has a real chance at being the best player out of this draft in 10 years. And that's all we can ask for at pick 3.

What I don't get is, they could have traded down and still got him. Missed opportunity

I think it was the right pick for this team. Brown is one of the few guys with true All-Star potential, plays the kind of game that Brad likes and is in a position to learn from a true pro like Crowder while getting plenty of playing time.

Great landing spot for Brown and I can't wait to see what the kid can do.
Jaylen Brown will be an All Star in the next 5 years.

I love this pick.
I want to see Brown, Crowder, and Smart on the floor together.

Can we please get a big, somewhere in this draft. And how about some shooting too.

Definitely a step up from Connect Four.

(1) You have no idea whether that's the case or not. I doubt Danny wanted to take that risk.
(2) If you think you have a special talent, you grab him when you get the chance.
