With Teague gone, Horford a FA, Bazemore a FA, can we possibly get Millsap in a trade?

#3 and something for Millsap?

*sigh*

You have to consider all factors, the biggest being that Milsap's contract expires at the end of this year (he has a player option the next year but if he pulls the trigger on that it means he sucked in the 16-17 season).

No one is going to give up the 3rd overall pick for a 31 year old 1 year rental. Or if they do they should be summarily shot.
Jaylen Brown will be an All Star in the next 5 years.

Is Millsap better than Teague is the question lol. After all, a #12 was dealt for Teague. We can get great value with that pick.

Obviously more would be needed to get someone like Milsap, but I wonder if they're interested in 16 now that they have 12. Using 12 and 16 could possibly get them into the top 8 or 9 of this draft.

Your right, kinda forgot that with the movement all of sudden, good call.

With a re-sign I would love PM on our team. I think he will be great in the locker room as well.

If Millsap was signed long-term, I'd give up #3 for him in an instant.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

About a half dozen tweets from pundits from different teams talking about Milsap right now wondering if ATL looking to blow things up with Horford maybe gone too.

I love Milsap and he fits this team and our needs perfectly but #3 is too much. Maybe #3 for #12 + Milsap? Or keep the #3 out of it period.

He surely would be an excellent, defensive-minded stretch four for our team. I'm not giving up the third pick for him though with his contract.

Question - do you think Milsap would be a draw for Horford here?

Boston - Milsap, Noel

Atlanta - Johnson, Jerebko, #3, 16

Philly - Schroeder, Young

Who says no?

Bigs who can switch, help on the perimeter, and shoot from deep are valued a lot these days.

Not moving the 3 for any 31-year-old player.

I want Okafor or Noel. Both are decent value for the third pick in a two-player draft.

Not for a guy playing on essentially a one year deal.

Indeed. i think at this point, Philly has put those 2 guys on the table, but are refusing to add sweetener. Ainge probably picked up an All Star roster and is just lowballing everyone because he has those 2 guys in his back pocket. When Boston hits the clock its going to come down to who blinks first. Does philly cave and throw in extra pieces or does Boston make the trade straight up.

im basing this off of reports Im reading. If I were running philly I would not throw extra in to a deal for Okafor specifically that I am already probably losing from a pure talent standpoint.

If Danny can get a big piece like Saric or that Sacremento pick(if that can even be traded) thrown in then he is a Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.ing God.
