The season has been over for 36 hours and we are "having a hard time" finding a trading partner.

Ainge is trading from a position of power. He will continue to drive up the price of this pick by waiting. Especially with the histeria growing around Dunn.

Or, Ainge released this to Russillo to get other teams saying, "Well if Ainge can't find an offer, we might as well throw him this one."

If this is true we should just make our picks and try to upgrade in free agency.

I loved this team last year. If other teams don't value our players as highly as we do, it makes sense to just keep our players.

This goes along with the commonly held notion that the Celtics won 48 games because Brad Stevens is magic and that the players aren't any good.
