1. Trade 3, Bradley and 2018 Brooklyn for Butler.

2. Trade 16, 31, 35, Johnson and Olynyk for 9. Take Poeltl.

3. Trade 23, 45, 51, 58 and Young for 20. Take Sabonis.

4. Take the option on Jerebko.

5. Sign Durant and Howard, thereby creating the Big Four:

1: Thomas/Smart/Rozier
2: Butler/Smart/Hunter
3: Durant/Crowder/Vet Min
4: Jerebko/Sabonis/Mickey/MLE Vet
5: Howard/Poeltl/Vet Min

Additions: Durant, Butler, Howard, Poeltl, Sabonis, one MLE vet (TBD), two vet minimums (TBD)

Subtractions: Bradley, Johnson, Olynyk, Sullinger, Zeller, Young, Holland

Bottomline: Barring injuries, this team could give Golden State a run for its money and we can finally keep LeBron out of the Finals again (Celtics and Howard are the only ones to do it these past 9 years). Team is young enough that we could be looking to make 5 or more championship runs with this core, particularly if Howard retains his dedication to being a workout warrior...

Bonus: We still possibly end up with a top lottery pick next year, which hopefully translates into an all-star PF...

Reports that Howard will decline his $23m option. Butler on horizon

Reaaaaally tempting to her what KD thinks about Howard. Anyone know any inside gossip on Dwight and KD relationship?

Even the Howard, IT, Butler, Smart, Turner, JJ, Amir, KO, RJ, Mickey (rookie 1, 2) team looks pretty tough (assuming Chicago eventually bite for AB, Chowder, Rozier, #3, and maybe one more pick..

is 4rs/80 million too much?

At the current salary cap, 4Y / $80M would be a bargain for Dwight.
