BOS trades: #3, #16, Avery Bradley, Amir Johnson, Terry Rozier
BOS gets: #2, Tristan Thompson
Why:  We get our shot at a potential superstar in Brandon Ingram.  We also get a pretty good, if overpaid, big man in Thompson who can rebound and defend and is still young enough to be a good fit on our team

LAL trades: #2, Julius Randle
LAL gets: Kevin Love
Why: They get a local star that they can build around and who can help them recruit free agents

NYK trades: Carmelo Anthony
NYK gets: #3, #16, Julius Randle, Terry Rozier
Why: They can fully commit to rebuilding and get a high lottery pick, a promising big man who is a great fit next to Zinger (Randle can guard the more physical big guys in the post and bang inside while Zinger can focus more on protecting the rim and spacing the floor), an athletic guard in Rozier, and another first rounder.

CLE trades: Kevin Love, Tristan Thompson
CLE gets: Carmelo Anthony, Avery Bradley, Amir Johnson
Why:  They replace Love with a more versatile scorer who is capable of playing much better defense.  They also add AB, a great 3 and D guy who is an ideal fit next to ball dominant players like LeBron, Irving, and Melo.  They replace Thompson with Amir, who isn't quite the rebounder Thompson is but is a better rim protector with more range and a much better contract.

Thoughts?  I know it probably won't happen because 4 team trades with multiple superstars and high picks changing hands never happen, but I think it makes sense for all sides.

I think the overall prototype of Boston sends picks + AB to NY + CLE, NY sends Melo to CLE, CLE sends Love is a good idea.

I don't think Cleveland is going to trade TT, as he's best friends with Lebron. Moreover, he's been great this offseason. Dominant on the O boards, and he's the Cavs' best defender. That said, this is an awesome trade for the C's and I'd be very very happy with it on our end.

I'd prefer Candace Parker at the 4.

Lakers would never do that.

Knicks get too much.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Knicks get WAY too much. They have no leverage in a Melo trade. Lakers hang up the phone honestly.

What if the Knicks also send Robin Lopez and/or arron afflalo to LA?

That's an awful lot to move up one spot in the draft. I'm big on Ingram so I understand why you want him. The problem is this brings us back down to a 7-8 spot in the playoffs, not sure the C's want to do that?

How come we have not heard any rumors about Danny trying to move up in the draft yet?

When was the last time we saw such a large deal involving four teams?

Wasn't the Dwight Howard to LA trade a 4 teamer?

Cavs and Knicks get way too much. No way C's and Lakers teams that do much better in trades agree to that. I think it would be

C's out=3, AB, 16, 23, Rozier
C's in=2, Randle
C's can draft Ingram and land a young PF.

Cavs out=Love, Shump
Cavs in=Melo, Rozier
Cavs get star for Love and a faster PG

Lakers out=2, Randle, Clarkson
Lakers in=Love, AB
Lakers become legit landing spot for Westbrook with AB and Love. And still can move Russell for Okafor oh man....

Knicks out=Melo
Knicks in=3, 16, 23, Clarkson(S&T), Shump
Three first, a guard they have been rumored to want, and the return of fan fav Shump. Clarkson, Shump, Valentine, Bender, Porzingis any one?
