Why announce ahead of the draft that we decided to pass on Bender already? Maybe they did a favor to some other team by announcing this now, to facilitate trades.

As good as IT is, he's best suited as a 6th man on a future Celtics contender. Dunn has the chance to be that top PG that almost every contender needs. He's the BPA here.

Williams still saying Lakers should take Dunn not Ingram, because he doesn't trust Russell to be a franchise cornerstone. I wish he was the Lakers' GM!

Wow via David Aldridge, Denver tried to move up to 3, but thought Boston wanted too much.

i.e., Galinari.

Michael Jordan wouldn't give up Frank Kaminsky for four No. 1s, but he gives up a No. 1 for Marco Belinelli?

This seems appropriate ;D -

I have a feeling Jordan is being advised by a couple of buddies on the 19th hole while drinking a scotch and smoking a cigar.

Are you kidding?  That could be a nightmare if it were to happen.

Seriously... could you imagine if the Lakers actually pulled a 180 like that? I'd be jumping in the streets

So what are the final predictions, guys? Trade or naw? I think we end up doing the deal with Philly, but it's not a straight up trade for either Noel or Okafor, other pieces involved.

It was certainly more.  That's terrible value.

Yeah, he's letting them all know he is taking Dunn and you better make your best offer if you want him.
