Would you trade milt palacio for him?
Where would he have gone in the 2007 draft if he was the same age as now?
How are his advanced metrics?

Do we like him?

Why is he the player we are the

You must have missed the Demarcus Cousins stage and the Josh Smith stage.

There have also been comparable love affairs with Embiid and Noel.

Kevin Love had his day as well.

I think the real question is:

Will he get the blonde tipped fauxhawk before the celtics trade for him or after?
My biases, in order of fervor:
Pro:
Smart, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Kemba, Grant Williams, Sleepy Williams, Edwards!

Anti:
Kanter, Semi, Theis, Poierier

I know Demarcus cousins has been a love affair, but it never approached these heights. On a given day 40% of our front post thread are about him.

I'm pretty sure Bender has Okafor beat by a large margin.

Yeah, for the last month up until yesterday.  But there has been Okafor stuff for a much longer time period.  More stuff on Noel and especially Cousins by far.  I think the Kevin Love stuff was worth it when he was going to change teams and  was spotted with Rondo.   And I'd probably have to trade Milt Palacio or JR Bremer for any of them.

Because J.Okafor is:

(1) Young
(2) a true center
(3) one of the most gifted post scorers and overall offensively talented big men in the league
(4) he plays for a team that is overloaded at his position and is considering moving him

(1) True
(2) Maybe. If he can't defend anyone he's not much of a center. And he currently can't defend anyone.
(3) False. His team, which was the worst in the NBA, was 7.5 points/100 better with him on the bench than with him on the floor. That doesn't sound like someone who is offensively talented.
(4) True
Jaylen Brown will be an All Star in the next 5 years.

#3 is pretty amazing to be true on a team so bad.

Well the good news is we only have to talk about this for the next 24 days. Then we can start to debate which free agent to sign.
