The premise of this trade is:
-Sacto is running out of time with Cousins. They will not become contenders before he inevitably bolts in FA, so they ought to rebuild. They also might value Okafor highly, and view him as a suitable replacement for Demarcus.
-Philly needs to rebalance their roster, and their ownership wants to have a respectable season next year.
-Boston needs a superstar, and has three starting-caliber guards.

The trade (everyone has space, no need to match salaries):

Sacramento sends Cousins to Boston
Boston sends IT :-(, Hunter, #16 + #31 to Philly, #3 + #35 to Sacramento
Philly sends Okafor to Sacramento.

-Philly is extremely motivated to move Okafor, and they get a nice haul in this deal. IT will singlehandedly make them relavent next year, and most importantly, their bigs can learn to play the PnR with a real PG. IT is also good as the secondary ball handler next to Simmons. Because of IT's bargain deal, Philly will have plenty of cap space to spend on 2nd-tier free agents like Batum and Fournier, likely propelling them into the playoffs next year.

-I think Sacramento loses this trade, but Sacramento might not think so. They net Bender and Okafor, both of whom they might view as a potential franchise players.

-Boston gets the superstar without giving up future Nets picks or Smart. Much as it hurts to lose IT (especially sending him to Philly... so so so sorry Isaiah), we'll be looking to sign a superstar PG in 2017, when Steph, RWB, CP3 and Lowry are all UFA's, and it's likely that one or two of them will move. With Cousins and a couple minor moves, I bet this team wins 55 games, which should be enough to attract the superstar that will allow us to take the next step in 2017-18.
