If the first pick were a Tim Duncan, then yes:  but not for Simmons who has upside great talent, but only good skill and questionable competitiveness.  The really great franchise players are driven competitors:  something Simmons has not shown.  He might be a rich man's Jeff Green.  The first year Kevin Garnett was with the Celtics they called him "nearly insane" because of his competitiveness.

No. Guys gotta stop with all these trade ideas that Boston's not gonna pull the trigger on. Most likely scenario is that they keep the #3 pick and draft a player.
