If you redraft the 2013 class, Noel likely goes #1 overall.
Giannis, Gobert, Cj and Schod wave hi.

I wouldn't take Gobert or Shroeder over Noel. CJ I would have to think hard about.

Way too much for Noel.

I give up 16 & 23 and Jordan Mickey.

Reasoning is that I’d happily package 16 & 23 to trade up and get a center, so training for a young established player at the same position makes sense.   If we are looking at Mickey as a small ball center for his defense, why not get a more athletic much bigger center who has proven he can get it done defensively in the NBA.

I would also be ok with trading 16 & 23 and Bradley instead.  I know he’s grown into a good player but we have Smart and Rozier, and I admit that I’ve been a long time Bradley hater.  I accept that he's a good player now but I still don’t see him as part of the future.

So what's fair value for Noel then. Kelly Rozier, Young 16 for him? Don't think that's enough myself.

This seems like too much. I definitely do the other trade (Smart, 23, 31).

I'd love to have Noel here. I think he can be a special team player. Like Noah was in Chicago.

If your Willing to give up Smart,16,31 for Noel, than I could twist your arm to get 23 instead. Couldn't I. You love him enough to give up one more mediocre first if that was the sticking point wouldn't you.

Maybe. Tough to give up that much though.

I think the Philly counter offer is more realistic. Bradley, Olynyk and number 16 pick for Noel or Okafor and a future protected first. Smart doesnt give them the offense at the wing they need, just the talent defensively.

We might be able to squeeze another player out of them like Saric. This would make a Philly trade more palatable but still we are talking about projection type talent not someone who is delivering now. Players that can perform now should be trade/FA targets. Let development be done on drafted players.

I really dont see them as that great of a trade partner. All their bigs are projects and would take us a couple years to develop. They dont want another offensively challenged project like Smart, do they?

Noel is not that good of a player to trade 2 1st rounders
He's kind of like lesser Tyson chandler or Brandon wright value

I don't think he's potential is as high as Philly thinks

Both elite defenders. Neither can score well right now. Noel is a Center/PF Smart can guard three positions and Milsap lol.

If Colangelo is demanding 16,23 and Smart do you pull the trigger.
hell no.  how is this even something that would be proposed?  I wouldn't trade Smart for Noel straight up.  I think Smart is the better player on defense AND offense.  why would we make that trade AND throw in 2 first rounders to boot?

Noel has shown nothing on offense in the past 2 years and he's going into the fourth year of his rookie deal.  He's almost out from Philly's cost control --> just wait until he hits free agency --> which I would be surprised if he didn't pursue that with 2 other bigs that will be ahead of him on the depth chart and the fact Philly is still going to suck for years to come.

no to AB but 16, 23 and Mickey would be fine.  Noel's going into his fourth year so his days of being cost controlled are numbered which decreases his value.
