What do you think about this:

Trade Bradley, Smart, Jerebko and #3 pick to Chicago for Butler and #14 pick.

Trade #14 pick and #16 pick to Sacramento for #8 pick. Draft Marquese Chriss with 8th pick

With #23 draft DeAndre Bembry

Sign Horford, Noah, Greivis Vasquez. Resign Turner.

Starting Lineup
PG Thomas
SG Butler
SF Crowder
PF Horford
C Noah

Bench
Turner
Johnson
Olynyk
Rozier
Chriss
Vasquez
Bembry/Hunter/Mickey

Bembry/Hunter/Mickey and 2nd rounders in D-League or Euro league

Enough cap space for Butler's extra salary plus Horford plus Noah?

Also, rumors of friction between Butler and Noah from this past season. Will Noah sign up to play with him again?

This is assuming Noah would not cost a lot. I never heard of rumors of Butler and Noah not getting along. If that's true, obviously that voids the Noah signing.

You were right. Well, there goes the Noah idea. Maybe Ezeli instead?

Couple things: I like Butler, don't love that Butler trade.

#14+16 probably does not get us #8.

Cannot just slide Ezeli in for Noah. He will bring in way more money.

14 and 16 for 10 then. The point is to move up to get Chriss.

Is it not possible for them to sign Ezeli and Horford under the cap with Butler? Maybe Nene instead?

IMO Bradley, Smart, #3 and #16 is too much to give up for Butler plus Chriss.

Yep
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

What I like best about your idea is going after Horford and Noah (assuming Noah is healthy). If we bring in Horford and a real center for him to play next to that could be a big step up for us.

Horford will "settle" for the 5 year Atlanta Max.

Noah will sign with Golden State--so we can see him and Varejao together--and the World will explode.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

Too much given up in the Butler trade.
