Yikes.  D'antoni and Harden is a match made in heaven ... heaven for opponents trying to score points, that is.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

Not a title winning choice but a fun choice. Nice to have D'Antoni back in the NBA.

Yeah, Daryl Morey has gone off the reservation.

Yeah, Daryl Morey has gone off the reservation.

He doesn't respect the value of high quality coaches.

Will be interesting, that's for sure. Harden might average 35 and 10. Heck Beasley might average 20.

I mean, if your franchise guy can't play defense I guess it's worth a shot.

Whats the chances of any coach getting Harden to play defense after this?

4 years of McHale not holding Harden accountable for his defense.
Now what, another 2-3 years of D'Antoni ...

How hard is going to be to change those long term bad habits then?
How bad a long term decision will this be for Harden as an individual player? For his career?

Well, I think that just about guarantees Dwight leaving this summer.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Wow

Perfect mix huh? Harden is going to average like 32-35 ppg and give up double that on the other end

McHale actually had Harden playing with solid defensive effort the year they made their WCF run.

Harden might as well not run back on defense anymore. Walk to half court and wait for the opponents play to finish.
