  • Peace it's a board. We all will never agree.
But what could you get in return for AB that would be even worth moving him?  If a contender is a 'missing piece' away, most likely they only have late round draft picks to offer which doesn't help us at all.  We have 8 picks in this draft alone.

I'm really glad that Bradley finally got the recognition that he deserved as a top NBA defender.

3rd overall in points, top guard.

Though everyone knew he was a top tier defensive player, I think his play against Curry in particular this season opened some eyes.

From an asset valuation viewpoint: If you're a contender and knew you had to go through team ____, what guard available in the trade market best defends Curry or Kyrie or Westbrook and has enough offense to stay on the court? Not that we should or will trade him, but you might get asymmetrical value for him if he was the missing piece for some one else.
He is a celtic and will stay. His value the next two years Da would have to be blown away. AB keeps getting better. He also does not mind taking clutch shots and that is hard to find. He is still young to grow more and become an All Star.
"People look at players, watch them dribble between their legs and they say, 'There's a superstar.'  Well John Havlicek is a superstar, and most of the others are figments of writers' imagination."

The comment regarding Avery's youth is so true. Bradley is still 6 months away from being 26 years old. He has grkwn and gotten better every year. With the Celtics having nationally televised games and Bradley being recognized a lot now as the best defensive guard in the league, Bradley could get a lot of exposure for All-Star status. If Bradley could get his efficiency up a bit by getting to the line more or converting more of his made long twos into threes, and ever score 19+PPG, Avery then has tk be given All Star status, especially given the national exposure he will be getting for doing it and being the league's best defensive guard.
