Sacramento is such a mess that James Anderson, who had a pretty brutal season, has chosen to decline his player option rather than take the guaranteed money of another season with the Kings.  With a lot of roster space and the likelihood that few players will want to go there without an overpay, the Kings could use a few picks that give them players who have no choice but to toil in Sacramento if they want to pursue the NBA dream.

While an optimist might suggest trying to bundle a late first and some seconds for Kosta Koufos (which I would jump on), I have a more modest idea.  #45, #51, and #58 for a future Kings second-round pick, likely to be pretty good since the Kings have a poor core.  Then, maybe they can fill out their bench with guys like Gary Payton II, Dorian Finney-Smith, and Josh Hart or whichever names Vivek draws out of a hat (which has a 1% chance of being the method he decides the Kings should use).
