The jump from 8 to 3 should be given a higher value than WCS.  The Kings would need to throw in another first or a similar-level player for me to think about it.

To play devil's advocate, he was the 6th pick in last year's draft, which is considered a stronger draft, and is still just 22. Plus, we were rumored to have interest in him and he does fill a position of need.

Exactly...  You aren't going to get WCS AND the 8th pick for the 3rd pick sorry ....

If Miami called and offered Winslow for Pick #3...would Danny bite-?

Heck no, even though Danny tried to trade every pick for him last draft day....so I think the value of some guys drop after they're drafted....No to WCS.

I just wrote a post about how we should do everything to trade up. In the event we cant, where do I sign? There will be ALMOST the same level of talent at 8 that there is at 3. The talent 3 through 10 is fairly even at this point (I realize workouts will help separate a bit).Chill Willie is a defensive monster. He ACTUALLY fills a need. PR switching Smart and WCS would be a nightmare for opposing teams. Do this. Hopefully a shooter is available at 8. I'm looking at you Buddy Buckets.

The Kings are dysfunctional. It's probably best to avoid trades with them unless you are guaranteed to fleece them.
