I think he would be an upgrade in many ways over Sully.

is he a restricted or unrestricted free agent?

Biyombo inked a two-year, $5.755MM contract with the team last summer and Toronto only holds his Non-Bird rights, which could make re-signing the 23-year-old difficult if he opts out of his pact.

What do you all think we should be willing to offer Biz per year?

  • That's turrible
Pay this man and make him a Boston Celtic. He's the shot blocker this team needs. This guy looks like Dikembe freakin' Mutombo.

Is "posterized" ever used to describe a great defensive play? Because Biyombo straight up posterized Love with an at-the-rim block.

I thought this earlier. You think him and a okafor pairing would work?

Would love to sign Biz as our starting rim protector , Amir moves to backup c

then sign Pau Gasol

Draft Bender

IT                      / Rozier
AB                     / Smart
Jae                   / Jerebko
Pau                  / KO             / Bender
Biyombo           / Amir           /Mickey

maybe you move KO and picks to get an upgrade off the bench at sf, opening up playing time for bender/mickey

  • Everybody knows what's best for you
Toronto is certainly enjoying his current breakout production, but I doubt they will pay him his increased value to be a backup. I suppose they could trade Jonas and keep Biyombo, but that isn't as likely.

What I am saying is, he should be available if we are willing to pay. You have to love his intensity - he would fit right in here.

All hail Lord LarBrd!
