Would the Pacers agree to take Amir Johnson, Terry Rozier, Sullinger, and a second rounder, in exchange for George Hill and Ian Mahinmi?

George Hill is an elite shooter at the 1. If we draft a point forward, he would be a good guy to have available - especially where we are likely to lose Evan Turner.

Thoughts?

Mahinmi is set to be a FA. So you're talking about a double sign-and-trade of him and Sullinger, which is theoretically possible, but so highly improbable that the chances are virtually nil.

I suppose we could leave Mahinmi and Sully out of it, and just offer Rozier and Johnson for Hill. The bigger question is whether we should part with one of our four (arguably five with Turner) PGs for a proven shooter at that position - particularly where the best game changing players are all point players who need the ball.

That would be a good trade for the Celts, but I don't see it for the Pacers.  They downgrade at both the C and pg positions.

Indiana wouldn't do this and also, where are we going to get all this playing time in the backcourt to satisfy all four of Smart, Bradley, Thomas and George, especially if Ainge brings in a real backup SF. A case can be made that all four of those guys are starting guard material and should be playing 30+ minutes per game

Seriously, George Hill's not a elite shooter. He's a career 37.6 3P% with a par-ish career PER of 14.9.
