Let's say if we don't take Turner back, then we can find someone good at shooting to replace him, would the following be of any interest?

Evan Fournier: RFA, shoot 3 at 40% the past season.

Alec Burks: lots of injury issues, but is still young and pretty good at scoring.

Tj Warren: similar to Burks, was out due to a broken foot.

Danny Green: if Spurs is really going for KD, then they need to unload someone(I think), would Danny Green be the odd man out? He's a good D+3 guy, can we be the facilitator to take Green's contract?

Arron Afflalo: has player option, Knicks benched him end of last season, maybe he'd prefer a change of scenary?

Jared Dudley might work, I think he is a free agent.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Gerald Henderson of the Blazers. Pretty much a veteran now but has only this season improved his overall offensive game.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Why would you want to replace a "lethal" 15% shooter?  ;)

You could ask the same question about pretty much the entire roster except with Turner we just don't have to resign him.

Pick Valentine at 16 in the draft. Younger ALOT better 3 point shooter. Plays pg,sg and sf.

Turners agent responds with:
Replace all that Turner does, but improve 3 pt/outside shooting % at the same or like price

(Dirty Harry) go ahead punk, I dare you

I think the goal is that Smart [and possibly Rozier] replaces Turner and we bring in a guy like Dudley to space the floor and play within 'the system'. If we get Butler, then I still think we bring in Dudley since it is likely one of Crowder or Smart is gone in a trade.

Agreed. Also doesn't dominate that ball as much.

He may play those positions, but he doesn't defend any of them.

He could probably make the rotation right away though.
