So I thought about if C's got the #1 pick and called up Kings for Cousins could the Kings flip things and become buyers?

I would think if Kings offered the 8th pick and WCS for IT, KO and AB it would become very interesting. You could take Ingram at 1 then maybe Lab at 8. Let Ingram play SG like Middleton does for Bucks.

I'd definitely package picks together to like
16 and 35 for Korkmaz.
23, 31 and 45 for Valentine.

In 3 years they could be really good
Starters= Smart, Ingram, Crowder, Lab, WCS
Bench=Rozier, Valentine, Korkmaz, _____

Would you trade IT, AB and KO for WCS and the 8th pick in this scenario?

I'd pass. IT and AB are good, productive starters on bargain contracts.

I'd trade IT (by himself) for the 8th pick + WCS.

If I had exhausted all of my other options to trade for a star, i.e. Butler, Love, Gasol, etc., then I would definitely listen to it, but it would have to be more, since we'll have to take back some unwanted salary from them. Something like:

Sacramento: IT, Bradley, Olynyk

Boston: WCS, Mcelmore, Belineli, 8th pick, Next unprotected pick they could send us (they have deals with Chicago and Philly already)

That's a pretty solid core for us:

PG: Smart, Rozier
SG: Crowder, Mcelmore
SF:Ingram
PF:Mickey
C: WCS

No way.

I wouldn't trade Thomas straight up for WCS and #8.  Wven trading Bradley for WCS + #8 would be a difficult call for me.

No way id trade both guys and KO for that return.  Only way of consider sending IT and AB to Sacramento is if I'm getting Cousins back.

No.  But I'd consider IT for next years unprotected  first, WCS and Omri Casspi.  I'm not too hot on this year's #8 pick.

I highly doubt Valentine is in the NBA 3 years from now.

Imho regards a pretty terrible core.

WCS, McLemore and Mickey look like they will be good role players and fringe starters.

Smart could be a borderline star, our could just as easily join the above guys in that ' fringe starter' category.  Ditto Rozier.

Ingram is IMHO a high risk pick who has a very high risk of busting.

Crowder is the closest that there is to a sure thing I that list and he's not exactly a star.

Giving up AB (who is a very good bit not great starter) and Thomas (who is a go-to scorer and All Star) for WCS.and #8 is a massive overpay...and throwing KO in there too is even worse.  I'd rather just keep the mite promising of our picks and move forward with that, rather then trade out of two best players for scraps.

Interesting opinion. I don't think Ingram will be a bust. He might not pan out as well as we think he could, but a bust is a little too harsh in my opinion.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.
