Two centers who were focal points of their teams this year in college and are projected outside the top 10 (Hammons may not even go in the first round due to age and past troubles with team violations).

Here's some links since we can no longer post vids:

Hammons is a legit 7 footer.  Stone is probably 6'10 but has a measured wingspan of 7'3.5.  Both are around 250 lbs.

Thoughts?

Hammons is way lower. Not exactly a focal point of his team either. He came off the bench for a bit as well. Stone did well as a freshman and there is a ton to like but he is more traditional big man. More athletic Perk. Not sure he will have a big impact for a few years. While Hammons has to be I'm right system.

If he lasts to one of our mid 2nds, and that pick isn't packaged for something else, I would like a flyer on hammonds.

Even though the nba has moved away from big lumbering centers, I think teams should have one deep down on the bench. He could take zellers spot for all I care. Or he could be buried on the bench. Whatever.

I'd prefer Damien Jones to Stone. Defence vs Offence. Having a guy like Jones off of the bench would be a nice boost for our defensive unit

Same exact reason I wanted hammons. If given the option of jones I'd take him. He would be like a craspy version of young Dwight on defense. Stick olynyk or Jerebko next to him on the bench and you mildly solve the spacing issues.

I do not think either would be good fits on this team. I would not mind DA taking a shot on stone with the Cs first but I think the Euros Zizac and Zubac will prove to be better NBA players.

Again I'd take the euros overy either because they seem better for the modern nba. Stone I just don't see it. Seems kinda like a dinosaur, but without the immense skill of another dinosaur (okafor)
