Crowder is  apart of the heart and soul of this team. He is signed to a cheap contract and plays amazing defense but has ultimately been shooting well below league average. When the celtics shooting is ranked 27th overall  is it time to start a better shooter?

It seems like we really need more shooting from our frontcourt. Nobody respected Sully or Johnson shooting jumpers from very far so it makes it more cramped for bradley and IT

He was 5th in the NBA for real +/- at the small forward position.

He's doing just fine

It all depends on what our roster will be; if we are to take some of the rumours seriously, we cannot even be sure he will still be with the Celtics next year.

IMO even if we do sign a big name at 3 and Crowder comes off the bench, he will still be one of our top players; he's proven himself this season.

He should definitely start. Main source of shooting woes on this team are Smart, Sully, Amir, and Turner. We just need to swap Sully+Turner for shooters and we'll be set.

Trade bait in the right deal and the right deal should be on the table very soon

Depends on who we get of course.   But JJ played well.  If he had a better handel and go to the hole better I would start him at PF.

I think if we could land D HOWARD and keep our team and add a number two pick we would be a awesome team.   Either one of those young 6"10' PF would be awesome to ad... Let Sully walk, resign Zeller for cheap for insurance.     Then pick up a lights out shooter at SG/SF we would rock it next year.

Way better then trading away all our depth.

You can say that about the entire starting 5 which would be an awesome second unit.  ???

Crowder should start again, however, he isn't so great that Danny shouldn't consider signing someone better and move Jae to the bench if the opportunity is there.

Depends on if he is traded towards a star ....

He probably disappears in any BIG name trade ......along with Bradley

Yes the improved shooting needs to come from the PF and bench. Aside from a major move finding a true stretch 4 / or KO making the next step and replacing turner with a shooter are imperative.

I'm comfortable with Crowder as a starter, but I think ideally he's a super energy 6th man.  Guys like him can really change the game off the bench, mixed in with the starters properly.

Depends what happens in the off season really.  He might start for another team if traded, if we get a star he may play a different position or come off the bench.
