For those of you who don't know Isaiah Thomas, this dude REALLY cares. Just passed him as he exited bathroom and his eyes are red from tears

There's not much else I can say besides "thank you." Thank you, Little Guy. You're a star.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

I think he's more that that.  6th men don't make all star teams and he's a legitimate all star.  But he needs offensive help. It's real easy to shut down a 5'7" penetrating guard when none of his teammates can knock down perimeter shots.

Isaiah exemplified the entire season to me. Defying all the odds. Overcoming every barrier. As a short guy too, I was definitely able to relate to him this season. Easily the most fun I've had supporting this team in quite awhile.

Thank you IT
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

100% Agree.

If we could have kept defenses honest by knocking down our 3PT shots, Isaiah would have a more open lane to get to, and less double teams.

He is a Celtic.

As a sub 5'9 lefty, Isaiah inspires me more than I can put into words. Obviously I'm playing in local men's leagues while he's in the NBA, but I can't help but relate to him. Seeing the energy and toughness that he plays with while being the smallest guy on the court motivates me to be the best I can be when I play.

I love what he's done this year. He's defied all odds and exceeding all expectations. I know he'll never be Bradley or Smart on the defensive end, but his hustle and heart make me a huge fan. I hope he stays a Celtic for a long time.

I really like Isaiah. He's right that anyone on this team could be traded—including himself—and as a fan, I want Danny to make whatever moves are going to bring Banner 18.

But I hope Isaiah is a Celtic for the rest of his career. Because he really is a Celtic. I think he pretty much did everything he could in this series. Having Avery would've helped, but maybe not a lot. Some people say he's not a starter, not a star, not a No. 1 option; I disagree. Pretty much anyone outside of LeBron would've struggled to carry this semi-depleted Celtics team to a series win. Isaiah needs help, and I think having even one more legit scorer would make a huge difference for him and for this team.

He did draw a hooking foul on Mike Scott late in tonight's game.  ;D

If anyone on our team could make an open three point jumper this guy might have demolished the Hawks singlehandedly.

It always sucks to get knocked out of the playoffs but it was even worse when seein Isaiah's frustration/disappointment on the court. If only his teammates could have played a little bit better. IT's drive in the final minute and no call on Horford was excruciating, although we had little chance to mount a comeback, you know he was believing he could do it.

The refs letting Atlanta play in the first half was a factor (also early in the 3rd when Korver knocked down Crowder on a 3 and there was no call) that didn't help us getting back but this loss, like the others, was on us for not making shots and having too many defensive lapses. The Bazemore drive and dunk on Crowder a few possessions after Crowder's own dunk comes to mind as a good summary.

By the way, Schroder is really annoying, the guy won the series and still jabbed at the end, and had to be escorted back to the locker room... wow. Have fun getting swept by the Cavs in the next round.

Overall he struggled in the playoffs... 39%/28%/81% shooting.  But he was a big reason we weren't swept.  Thomas is the type of guy who can win you games when he is streaking.  When the dust settles and the excitement wanes, I'm not sure he really solidified his stance as a legitimate all-star, but man... he earned a ton of respect this season and I'm super glad he's a part of this team's future.   Huge personality, great fit for this team, and a big game.  He's a lot of fun to root for.
