Who would you choose ?

Very high chance that we are in the position to choose one or the other with the 3-4 pick on draft night

But he is not good at creating offense. While brown can , finish through contact

True, but neither has a complete game...since the Celtics need shooting, I opted for shooting.

I could see Danny trading down at 3 or 4 or 5.  He won't have chips to trade up to 1 or 2; too big a gap.

You always take the BPA.  Silly to draft for need because needs change.

I am a huge Murray fan, I think his shooting would be huge for us. I expect him to develop into a player that can create his own shot off the dribble, but for now he could immediately help us running off screens to get open 3's. He is an extremely crafty scorer, I believe the ball slows him down when he dribbles. When he improves his ball handling enough that the ball no longer slows him down I think he will be a serious problem in the pick and roll.

However, I think I'm coming around on Brown. What Brown did late in the season soured me on him. Being a no show for his tournament game caused me to pull back on him. After a little time has passed I think I was putting too much emphasis on one game. His talent is tantalizing. He's a super athlete, with the body/athleticism to guard multiple positions. He can create off the dribble and is a monster in transition. His college offense didn't really seem to fit his skills but I think our offense would be a perfect fit for him. My biggest issue is I don't really want to add another player that I have to hope develops a jump shot.

So in the end, I'm not sure which I would go with.

He is also still attending class. Even if he can "Ben Simmons" it

Brown has a strong body, explosive for 6'7 sf , 7'0 wingspan

I like Murray but wonder sometimes if he will struggle to even get free against NBA team/Ind defenders.     You can't draft a guy(3-5 range) to be 3 pt specialist or stand there at the corner . also some questions on his densive capabilities

Tbh, even though shooting addition would be nice (and a natural good shooter) brown is someone for Danny that might be too hard to pass up

Some mentioned Murray could turn out to be a slightly taller/thicker/stronger JJ reddick

Worthy of 3-4 pick?

He is so much further than JJ was freshman year in college in terms of ball handling. Think JJ Reddick with the ability to score by creating his own shot off the dribble. That is a 20+ point a game scorer imo.

I think that's a reasonable board for picks 3-4-5-6.

I know some folks might argue for Hield or Dunn to get inserted into that mix, but for me, I'd have both just outside that group.

People are down a bit too much on Poeltl, I think, due to one bad tournament game where he got into early foul trouble.   I've been reviewing his season lately and I feel re-affirmed that he's got all the tools to be a really, really excellent center in the NBA on both ends of the court.  We need two-way players.
NBA Officiating - Corrupt?  Incompetent?  Which is worse?  Does it matter?  It sucks.
