Great game!

Game 5 is must-win for Celtics. Let's get the W.

Sully 1-7  :-X

Yeah. I'm ready to move on from Sully.

Love the effort he brings, but it's time to move on.

See I don't even see him bringing effort now.  Maybe it's conditioning, I don't know, but he is terrible on defense.  I've seen this from him before last year though, later in the year, so I am not surprised.

But yes, ready to move on.  Even more than you I suppose.

I agree but I think Sully is just horrible match-up wise for this series. Millsap and Horford will eat him alive if he has to cover them. Put him against Kevin Love and he'll murder Love in the post.

Isaiah is so well-spoken; he comes across as a very precocious young man.

(What a great face of the franchise!)

Look just how close these teams are and this series has been, even with our injury woes:

Paul Millsap: 19-of-31 from field

Rest of Hawks: 18-of-69 from field (26%)

He's a good player, but having him as (arguably) our best big is an issue
I'm bitter.

I agree he had a terrible game both offensively and defensively BUT he got some huge rebounds down the stretch in the fourth.

That being said, agreed let him walk this offseason

I thought he has better effort this game than the last one.   You can tell other teams target him on offense.

Definitely, not a foundation piece.  But in all fairness, I think he showed more effort tonight than in other games.

Nerve-wrecking game, I really thought we were doomed when Millsap couldn't be stopped in the 3rd and we were down by 16. It would have hurt badly to lose because of the opponent's All-Star having of those nights but our collective effort was beautiful to watch. Smart was amazing - although it's crazy how I still want him and do no want him at the same time to take 3's in the clutch.

We did our job at home and got back the momentum in the process, while surviving a great Millsap game and two huge 3 pointers by Teague that could have buried us... I think we're in the Hawks' heads (especially Schroder's :D). Can't wait for game 5.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Anyone know who the big guy with dreads and the black 'black pyramid' shirt was that came on the court and congratulated them after the win? A Patriots/Redsox player?
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

I agree with all of this.
