I think we might have just maximized what we could hope to achieve with this roster. It was a nice run, but this magical season ("magical" = tied for 3rd in the east 2 years after a tank) is probably soon to be over.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

well I am surprised he said it, but I do not disagree with what he said. The regular season was fools gold. We required all out play to win or stay in games when for the most part our opposition was cruising. I suspected that come playoff time we would be exposed.

Yep, never much time to put the rookies on the floor and give them quality nba minutes.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

There were 82 games to get young guys pt . We just decided to ride players that aren't part of the future and don't have trade value.  College coach syndrome.

the game was brutal to watch but it shows 2 things I've said all season:
1. This is a team of role players that will be outplayed by teams with legit all-stars.
2. This team lives and dies with the jumper.  when they're hitting shots, they can beat anyone.  when they're cold, they're very beatable.

Not ready to throw dirt on their coffin yet.  Let's see if things are different on home court.  it may cure their ills, even if only for game 3.

Hate the Hawks ! We could have had home court AND play the heat.
I bet they lost that last game on purpose.

A team not winning on purpose?  Absurd!  Think of the culture of losing they are building moving forward.  Look at how many free agents won't want to come there ::).  That's for u non tanking ideologues.

If Danny doesn't fix this he needs to go.  He can't keep resting on 2008.  He's let guys like hood And Hollis Jefferson etc slip away for unecessary players like James young and roZier.  Young was limited  at Kentucky and we have enough ****ing guards!!!

Rozier was fine. And RHJ wouldn't have helped us yesterday

you do realize that this total rebuild is a process, right? ainge is not finished, nor has he ever indicated to anyone that he is finished. he knows better than us what is wrong and what can and cannot be done about it.

as for using hindsight to judge draft picks, that flawed argument has been beaten to a pulp many times here at cb.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.
