I hope Whiteside is ok. If injured, it could cost him millions.

Hopefully that link still works. Definitely pulls him back with a handful of jersey.

The refs just swallow the whistle on those side out plays. I remember in the golden state boston game at the end draymond green basically powerbombed marcus smart at the top of the key in the middle of the court clear as day and nothing got called.

Theres nothing corrupt about it, players know they can get away with murder on those plays and they do. For both teams.

Drove up into Smart with his shoulder, but after he'd been knocked down by Turner slipping on the floor and taking out his legs.

Swallowing their whistles on key inbounds has been an NBA tradition for a loooooong time.  Frankly, I'm ok with it overall; it's very hard to pinpoint where to draw the line (Waiters' shove was almost certainly over it though), but it's much better than calling every ticky-tack bit of contact and deciding the game that way.

Something that hasn't been talked about enough is how Kyle Lowry is really showing himself to be a fraud playoff player.  He was total garbage against Indiana and now scoreless through the first half of game 1 in this series.

Having said all that though, I'm still reluctantly going with Toronto in this series.  Maybe a big part of it is because I constantly watched our own team beat them this season, but I'm just not impressed with Miami.  Wade is old, even after a full season and a half in Miami Dragic STILL doesn't look comfortable, no Bosh, despite the blocks Whiteside is still one of the worst defensive big men in the league, an Amare Stoudemire on literally his last legs, ......Gerald.  They just aren't impressive to me.

Miami's vets just know how to win playoff games. This team doesnt look great on paper, but they are a sneaky team to make the ECF imo.

On a related note, Winslow looks mediocre in the playoffs so far. Smart looks so much better than him. I'm really glad MJ rejected Ainge's crazy offer. Our offseason this summer would have been sooo disappointing without the large cache of assets we have stockpiled, including the Nets and Mavs picks in this draft.

We could have gotten to the ECF if we didn't get screwed over by stupid tiebreaker rules...

(Yes im still mad about this)
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Wow...gotta give it to him, but kind of ironic that the player who hit it is the same player that has been complete garbage these entire playoffs...and really the entire playoffs the last 3 years.

Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

I love Lowry, Val, and Cojo. But this Heat team is too good. They have no answer for Wade, Dragic, Joe.

Apparently the raps have an in-house DJ for timeout music.
