I releuctantly voted for Simmons with Portnoy a close 2nd, but if they were disqualified I think Kirk Minihane is the new #1 topping Felger. Nobody has the balls that Kirk has in an interview and to get down to the bottom of a situation.

I'm a huge Simmons/Ringer fan. He's dynamite across the board. I'm proud he stems from Boston and is a true Celtics fan doing it at that level.

More catchy headline. Are you just going to criticize the list or make an argument for who you support? Haha. Jesus.

Love him or hate him, Minihane is far from a Felger wannabe. While sentational at times, his arguments have substance.

Minihane on deflategate was some of the BEST coverage of any sports related controversy in Boston sports history. He mastered the Wells Report and destroyed every national media talking head in his path. Minihane deserves some love for that alone.

That's true. He killed Deflategate.

Honestly, I don't know who I'd pick. Simmons has gone national/Hollywood, Ryan and Jackie are rusting, Portnoy is amusing but crass, and I've already given my two cents on Felger and Minihane. It must be a low point in the history of Boston sports media.
