This from hoopshype:

Darko Milicic: “They offered me contract in Boston. I didn’t want to go there and not play. They said they would play me.”

Thoughts on this?

He can score, but he simply cannot defend.

Has this been mentioned on our blog?

I believe it's a quote from an interview with Darko about his time here in Doc's last season. When most of us wanted to give him some minutes, but Doc kept him on the bench. He was later released, when a relative of him in Serbia got sick. He went home and stopped playing.

He was promised playing time, but he wasn't given any. While in preseason he made quite an impression.

This is a head-scratcher. Darko is a 30 year old kickboxer.

this is the likely explanation.

Hoophype's "storyline" is "Whatever happened to Darko Milicic?".  They're posting a lot of quotes from a interview Darko recently gave, where he looked back at his time in the league.

Darko, is not a good player, nor has he ever really been one.   This would not be true, I wager, and a wishful boast on his part.

I call BS on this statement, while I can't argue with the playing time, he was terrible.

That is not decent unless your playing ball with Stevie Wonder.

Yeah, this has nothing to do with the now, he is speaking of when he was in Boston last time.

Darko isn't coming back to the league. He made that very clear in this tell all interview.

My guess is that RyA's statement was in regard to the pre-season, during which Darko looked impressive at times:
