of Amir.  signed with Toronto to a 1 year 6 million dollar deal vs 12 million Amir is making

Was a beast last night and all over the place (like a tristant thompson)

I would take Biyombo right about now over Amir.  And Toronto did

They actually didn't. They chose Carroll over Amir. Also, Amir played the 4 in Toronto, while Biyombo can only play the 5. I also rather have Johnson's contract since we can use it as part of a larger trade this summer. Biyombo is a FA, so the Amir contract provides us with more options.

Amir was very valuable in the beginning of the year and I still think his veteran presence was valuable in the beginning of the year. Plus the contract gives us a lot of flexibility.

its not like DA could force the guy to sign here.

Biyombo would of prob gone to whoever really wanted him and paid him decent cash.

He was not one of the early FAs signed

Danny prob could of had him if he wanted to early on in the process

He was utilized incorrectly in Charlotte vs what is going on in Toronto now. Kudos to Casey

Danny is asleep half the time on getting quality players to come here either through the draft or FA.  10 more years of mediocrity >:(

prior game to last night , against the Pacers grabbed 25 rebounds.  Destroyed Hill and Turner on the boards.  Had a nice scoring game too

VS

Turner and Hill owning our bigs the game prior

Amir's a placeholder.

Biyombo is a nice rebounder and interior defender but he's a zero on offense.  Rock hands.  Other team doesn't have to pay attention to him.

Wouldn't work on this Celtics team.

As long as we're gonna cherry pick stats let's give them context. Jonas V isn't playing for a few games and Biyombo played 42 minutes that night he got 25 rebs. The game was against Indiana which was without their starter Mahinimi. So they went with Jordan Hill who gives up 20 pounds to Biyombo. Despite all his rebs the game went into OT.

Twice in the past ten games he has also had games with 4 rebs.

He has beaten expectations this year, but that's because the expectations were so low. He's also lucky that neither Anthony Bennet nor Lucas N emerged in Toronto. I would never have bet on that, but that's just me.

Biz is making 2.81 million THIS YEAR alone and is due to make 2.94 million NEXT year.  Utter MISS by Danny.  There is NO positive spin to this.  Just a BAD MISS!!!!

and Sorry Amir is some kind of offensive weapon??

Biyombo's 4 dunks a game on average is nothing fancy but a bucket is a bucket.  It is nearly unblockable how explosive he gets up there

You forgot to mention the fact that he has stone hands and is a non passer.
