Domantas Sabonis - Gonzaga

Has 19 double doubles this college season, efficient scorer, his dad was one of the 5 best basketball players of all time.

Prime Sabonis or prime Bill Walton, who ya got?

I mean I think they were both great, but Sabonis had size and shooting range in the matchup.  One of the reasons I think Sabonis was/is so good is because his skill set would have made him a top player in any era.  He could stroke the 3 before it was cool. :)

1. Ben
2. Brandon
3. Buddy <- was hesitant with him at first, but seniors have proved to be valuable in the NBA (Lillard for example). He has the most complete game of all the prospects, and i dont think its a fluke because he is playing in the college level. By every measure it seems that his skills will carry over into the NBA, he has the strength, IQ, and shooting form. His free throw rate is amazing, which correlates into a good 3 point shooter in the NBA.
4. Brown
5. Murray
6. Dunn
7. Poeltl
8. Ellenson
9. Timofey
10. Rabb
11. Jackson
12. Bender <- he is labeled as a good shooter however he shoots 25% over in Israel (Their 3 point line is like mid-range over here). His free throw rate is an abysmal 50%. Lacks the strength to keep up on he defensive end, even considering his "lateral quickness".

Simmons
Ingram
Murray
Hield
Brown
Dunn
Poeltl
Ellenson
Valentine
.

.
Luwawu
Allen

I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

I wrote a whole post on why I didn't think Bender was a top 3 prospect, but let's not be too harsh on him. It is simply not true that he is shooting 25% on 3's (http://basketball.realgm.com/player/Dragan-Bender/Summary/41582), nor that he is shooting 50% on FTs.  I would be very surprised if he slips out of the top 5.

well, even in the link that you provided, in this current season, he is indeed shooting 25/50. I dont even think 12 is too harsh, still in the lottery.

Bender - his game screams modern NBA. Versatility, Defense and Shooting.
Taurean Prince - Sleeper. Think of Crowder and Carrol.
Zimmerman - Excellent skillset for a bigman. Just needs to fill out and toughen up.

I'm doing this in the order of where it's looking like they'll fall by different mock drafts.  Whether it's a few picks to early or to late.

Personally I'm taking Ben Simmons over Ingram if we get the number 1 pick.

Celtics Pick (Brooklyn) 3-6
Jaylen Brown
Buddy Hield
Dragan Bender (Only seen youtube clips, could be a good pick and stash even depending who we go after in free agency if he doesn't come right away.)

Celtics Pick (Dallas top 7 protected) Looking like midteen pick (13-18)
Damian Jones (He is my MUST have at this second 1st round pick)
Denzel Valentine
Skal Labissiere (Could turn into a good pro if taught and given time)
Diamond Stone

Celtics Pick (Boston 22-28)
AJ Hammons
Taurean Prince
Dwayne Bacon

Ulis is really awesome too. He's up there as one of the best players in the nation.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

I really like Ulis, but are U ready to add another 5'9" 145 pounder!  Isaiah outweighs him by 30 pounds!

Calapari actually brought up his well Thomas is doing in reference to how Ulis should be a first rounder.

I don't want us to draft him. I just think he'll be a really good player.

Same here. I think he'll be good for someone else. I think this about Demetrius Jackson too.

Huh? He's 16/22 this season on FT's and 20/53 on 3's.
