CBS is a great coach.
COY?

I think it would have to be between Brad Stevens, Greg Popovich and the Raptors coach.  I don't see any other coach who would even get consideration.

I mean GS have been amazing sure, but they're the defending champs and they have the best player in the league on their roster, so how much of that credit does the coach get?

Porzingis, who had just one foul and was not injured, played just 20 minutes. Lance Thomas played 30 and Langston Galloway played 23. What on earth is Rambis doing?!
hes probably on twitter or something.

Tanky tanky tanky

I think after looking at the way Porzingis turned out, the Knicks want to try to get another high pick....so losing desperately.  But they are nowhere near bad enough to get in the top 5 I don't think, so if that's the target then I don't really get it.

Slight problem: they don't have their pick.
oh yeah....Bargs trade....LOL

Yup. The gift that keeps on giving. The Knicks would get a lot more crap for that one if it wasn't overshadowed by the Nets' ineptitude.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

i wonder where he stands in the MIP race. CJ is ahead of him, but i wonder what the outcome would be if you factor in usage rate, and strength of team.

Carmelo would be a great #3 on a team.

I think most people expect CJ to win it, but I think Jae is in the conversation.  Here's an article about it on a Blazers forum:  http://www.blazersedge.com/2016/2/5/10921506/cj-mccollum-portland-trail-blazers-nba-most-improved-player

They have a section on Jae.

There were two really bad calls. The one that stands out is the foul they called on Jae guarding Melo shooting a jumpshot where Jae fell backwards and didn't touch him. I was p---ed. The other one was called on Smart who got a tech for arguing.

If you have replay check the feet - Crowder stuck his foot out defending and it tripped up Melo's foot as he went into his shooting motion.  That was why it was called.

Mello stepped on Crowders foot, that's why he couldn't recover his balance and fell down.
