We need to sign MT.  He knows our system and Brad and would be instant offense when he is on!!

Houston is finalizing a buyout with him!!

I liked Marcus (much more than Jordan Crawford), but I'm less bullish on adding yet another guard.

Edit: Seems he managed to play significant minutes for Houston as a SF. Didn't realize that.

Can you tell me how many minutes he played at SF and how many at SG for the Rockets?  He always seemed like a pit bull, sort of like Marcus Smart, but with killer range:-)

Here's one stat source. But I can't swear how accurate these breakdowns are by position.

Yes, Thorton is the type that go without playing for the first 30 minutes, come in if our offense stagnates, and start draining shots. He'd be a very valuable 15th man.

I've never heard of an awful defender be referred to as a "pit bull".

With Joe Johnson going to Miami, we should look to KMart and Thornton once they complete their buyouts. Either one can come in and score off the bench. So I'm fine with either.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

So, you can ONLY be a "pit bull" on defense???  What the heck??  I was referring to his tenaciousness on offense!!

He is NOT known for his defense, but I do NOT remember him being a huge hole on defense in his time with us last year!!

Remember, we are getting him to come in and give us instant offense for games like last night when we seemingly could not hit the broad side of a barn in the second half for some time!!

Have you given up on the idea of signing a player who doesn't suck?

Thorntons not shot great 34% 3pt and 40 from the field.  Not sure he's really a necessity unless as some have mentioned he can play SF.

PLEASE tell me a player that IS available that has a higher PER than Thornton's 14.9 PER.  Please, just tell me ONE that is AVAILABLE to be signed by March 1 and therefore able to help us in the playoffs.

I will be patiently waiting.
