Say you can pick one franchise and one franchise only to create an all time team.  You can only use seasons from a player when they were on the team.  What franchise would you select?  And I'm eliminating the Celtics, Lakers, and Sixers from this exercise since I think those three franchises stand out from the rest.  You can't alter positions, but if a guy played multiple positions for the franchise you could select a year with another position.

So who you got and why (and this is more than just a starting 5, you need a real team with a real rotation - let's say 10 deep)?
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Warriors, Bulls and Spurs seem the front-runners.

I will take a look at the Blazers, Magic, Heat, Mavs, and Rockets.

I will generally avoid the Jazz, Suns, Bucks, Hornets, Knicks, and Nets.

The Thunder is kinda a toss up

I think the Heat one with prime Wade, prime Bron, late-prime Shaq plus Mourning and Hardaway ... might be one of the best five-man groups.
