Simple enough question: Which team do you think improved their roster the most? (Rosters below)

To keep things fair since some people built their roster to compete now while others built them to compete later, each voter will get to vote twice. The first vote will go for the roster that is most improved to compete now, and the second vote will go for the roster best set for the future. Whoever ends up with the most votes wins!

Since it was a mock trade deadline exercise, the criteria for voting should be who improved their team the most to either win now or in the future. Thus, keep that in mind before simply just voting for the best overall team that didn't make any moves like the Warriors, who I was a GM of as my second team.

Note: Anyone and everyone can vote, even if you didn't participate in the mock trade deadline! (We only have 20 teams because the other 10 GMs never got back to me with their updated rosters.)

I'd probably say the Pistons, but they don't seem to be an option...

The poster (DrJasper) didn't have his roster posted on the other thread and didn't respond to PM, so I had to leave it off. Also, this is for the Mock Trade Deadline that quite a few of us took place in here on Celticsblog, not the actual NBA trade deadline.

I was able to add the Pistons' roster to the text and poll, so there is now another option to choose from.

Important to note that the Celtics retained the 2016 Nets Pick despite acquiring Porzingis.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

I'd vote Knicks most improved in the present, Sixers most improved for the future.

Cool idea, did it play out as you expected?

Not at all. As the Celts I planned to build a contender around Cousins, but I couldn't pry him from Sacramento, and ultimately went for a full youth movement.

It definitely was a lot of fun, and with GMs not having to worry about appeasing owners with money or anything like that, they could purely try to make the best basketball team possible, which meant that there were a ton of moves that happened. I think we should try and do this every year.

In the first four hours or so of the mock trade deadline I got roughly fifty PMs with potential deals and negotiations. You literally couldn't leave your phone or computer lol

I was similar to Max. I thought there'd be a ton of interest in Melo around the league, but literally nobody wanted him. So I had to switch gears and reload around Melo. Luckily, Porzingis had a ton of value, and I was able to take advantage of the Dwight situation.

KeepRondo did a heck of a job with the Sixers. That team is SET for the future.

Thank you. Would you mind moving Smart to the 2 and Payne to first on the depth chart at the 1 too? Thanks and a TP!

Edit: We still have the 2018 Nets Pick too :)
