Zach Randolph Trade - Idea

With Gasol down for the year, just trading Courtney Lee, I'm not sure if the Grizzlies are looking to sell and looking to rebuild.  They're going to be needing to resign Conley at the end of the year.  They're trying to sell off our old friend Jeff Green as well.

Grizzlies do this to get a 1st and a 2nd for Randolph basically.  Jerebko is a good filler for Green and can be picked up next year for 5 million which would be a great price and a good role player. 

Celtics do this to turn some of our trade asset picks into a solid scoring power forward who can still play defense in Randolph.  Randolph has also a nice contract that'll be around 10 million next year.  If we don't extend Johnson we still have a great veteran next year who will be on his last year, who could be kept next year or traded at deadline if we don't do well.  Jeff Green gets plugged in this year where Jerebko is player an is more athletic and can have night of looking like a star.

It's a quite move, nothing to flashy but it would improve us and help the Grizzlies out if they're in a sell now mood.  I'm not wanting to say give up 2 1st round picks but I'd be willing to throw in a 2nd 2nd round pick.

2 things:

1. that's not nearly enough for Z-bo nevermind adding in Green.
2. C's don't own their second round pick this year.  they have 5 of them and none of them their own.
