Not having to give up Crowder to get Love would be really awesome.

Do it and then beat the Cavs in the playoffs. How hilarious would that be. We'd be a tough out especially if we were able to land Horford or Howard on top of it

For sure---Danny wouldn't stop at just Love.....Love would be this year's Ray Allen.

would be a pretty simple trade

bos sends :Lee,KO 2016 c's pick, dallas pick , brk 2017 or 18
Bos gets:  Love

nyk sends : melo
nyk gets  : Lee, 2016 c's and mavs, 2017 or 18 brk

cle sends : Love
Cle gets  : melo,KO

IT          / Smart
AB         / Turner
Jae         / Jerebko
Love       / Amir
Sully        / Zeller

Teams don't want Olynyk over sullinger

I disagree.  Olynyk low cost for an extra year + much more intriguing with his skill-set as a 7 footer.

No. Sully is playing better

If this goes through, the Cavs basically will have swapped 20-year-old Carmelo Anthony for 31-year-old Carmelo Anthony.

Extremely predictable tweet.   Pretty much all of these dumb rumors are followed by a "league sources say nothing is happening".

  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
I'd love this deal at the deadline, but I think it might make more sense in the off-season.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

NO WAY Melo goes to Cleveland!!!!!!

LaLa says No No to Cleveland.......not a prayer in the blankin' world unless there's a divorce in the Melo house.

Embracing Honey Nut Cheerios is more likely in the Anthony house than them going to Cleveland.
Why is Melo taking orders from Lala... does she even have a career at this point?
at least according to stories earlier, she was the major reason melo stayed in NYC and did not sign elsewhere. google it.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

League sources want nothing taking away from All-Star weekend. They'd deny that the sun was coming up tomorrow a.m., if they thought the sun coming up took away from the festivities.

To them everything should be on hold till Monday.

I would love to be wrong, of course, but I find it hard to believe that any trade like this does not include Brooklyn 2016, which is still fine with me. You have to give something of real value to get Love.

I'm not a fan of Kevin Love, specially for what we'd have to give up in this deal.  If it only cost us Lee, Jerekbo, Rozier and say BOS 16 1st and DAL 16 1st I might do it, but even then I'm not sold.  I say this for the reason Love's shoulder.  He got it messed up in the playoffs last year against us, then just this past week had another injury to the shoulder.  This past one wasn't "a big deal" but I see it turning it into one.

If I'm the Cavs and really wanting Melo, they should just try to trade Love for Melo.

You got the quote marks wrong.

Nothing is "happening."

Haha.

Let's be clear about this thread...in which we have 2 reports/tweets from:

Frank Isola
Gary Washburn

That is all.

To Boston: love
To Cleveland: Howard
To Houston:
Mosgov, lee

That would insure the cavs fail to win again

@BillSimmons yesterday
I hacked Frank Isola's account a few hours ago and made up a 3-teamer that got Kevin Love to the Celts - my bad everybody.
