Does this guy have any credibility?

A deal like this would obviously include the 2016 Brooklyn pick from our end in addition to other assets.

I still think people around here are overrating that pick's value.  In Simmons most recent NBA podcast he asked his guest whether the Jazz would considering giving up Gordan Hayward for both that pick AND the Dallas 1st.  They came to the consensus that it wouldn't be worth it for the Jazz, because that pick ultimately might not be that good.  Simmons said getting Hayward for the Brooklyn 1st would be his dream scenario.

Probably

To Knicks:  Lee, Sullinger,  Zeller,  Nets 1st,  2 other 1sts

To Cavs: Melo, Hunter, Celts 2nd pick

To Celtics: Love , 4 no name players

Celtics lineup

Amir
Love
Crowder

KO
Jerebko/Mickey

So maybe we should just trade for Melo.   Grab Melo and Horford and let's see what happens.

3-teamer with Cavs is still in play with that tweet if we get K love and give up assets to Knicks, with Melo going to Cavs.

If we can get Love for basically Lee, Sully, a rookie, and a non-2016 Brooklyn pick I think I could sign on to that. Not only do we keep our best asset, but we get a guy who replaces Sully while being a much better player and under team control. Stick Love into Sully's spot on this team and we might see Love become much more like the Minny Love than the Cleveland one. Stevens could do well with Love.

I'm fine with moving out picks.  There's nothing in these drafts to get too excited about

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Frank Isola is a moron. Majority of my college buddies are NY fans. He's a NY reporter that talks nonsense and dumps on his own team regularly.

Im hesistant to add no d guys like love and melo, very hesitant. Horford i think is the perfect fit if we ever trade for one. Only thing that worries me is he window we have. These guys are in their thirties and most players are young so i dunno

Do it!

How happy would you be, scale of 1-10?

Is 'Eleventeen' a number? #DKCTalk

Well, Bilbo Baggins was "eleventy-one," so I suppose "eleventeen" works.  ;D

Sounds about right, give Phil Jackson the tools craft the team he wants and put the right pieces around Porzingis, give Melo the opportunity to put his money where his mouth is, prove he cares about winning and go for a title.

I'm losing it over here, get Love to Boston!

  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
Love is a player I'd give up the Nets pick for. The likelihood we get a top three pick won't be that high at the end of the season. Love would be a lot more effective given a bigger role in Boston.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

And? So what? Simmons and House are more fans than experts. That said, more esteemed writers like Lowe, Mannix, etc. consider the Nets a cesspool of a franchise and the consensus is that all their picks are going to be worth their weight in gold.
