Mudiay is going to be nasty if he can improve his shooting.

Smart seems out of place.

Maybe it was the airball

Probably because Smart is a scrappy defensive minded player in a shoot-first crowd pleasing game.
Still it's pretty glaring how much offensively better guys like Parker, Mudiay, Wiggins, Levine, Okafor Etc are compared to Smart.

Smart is gonna have to be a knock down three point shooter in this league to match these guys.

Talent and athletic skill alone, these guys kill Marcus.

Leadership, heart/desire to win, defense..and I'll take Marcus all day long.

Guys Like Marcus Smart and Elfrid Payton aren't for these types of games

Both have team characteristics that make a team better

I think you're reading a little too much into this game. You can't take anything from this game, like at all. All they're doing is shooting threes, throwing alley oops, and not playing defense out there. Of course he's not going to look natural out there - that's not his game. His game is predicated on defense, BBIQ, and intangibles to help the team win - pretty much the antithesis to All-Star weekend.

Sorry but Smart really sucked in the first half.

How many of these guys helped a team make the playoffs or are helping a team make the playoffs this year?

I know Marcus is 2 for 2

So are you saying that Towns, Wiggins, Mudiay wouldn't be helping us right now?

You're starting to reach troll status now.. It's kind of funny actually that you're really trying to criticize Smart off of a game like this lol

I had a feeling this isn't the kind of game for Marcus. Great player but this showboating stuff and whatnot just isn't for him.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

If you want to take an obvious observation and twist it like that then maybe you are getting offended because you know it's true.

Yep. Still think he can hit some threes and get going but he's been so passive.

Really not sure. Probably the first two, not sure about Mudiay helping this team.

Really speaking about Lavine, Clarkson...

I really don't like Clarkson at all. I feel he's nothing other than a scorer, a "good numbers on a bad team" guy.

Who cares?  Is he passive in an actually meaningful NBA game?  No, he is probably one of the most active guys out there whenever he's on the floor.

Dont know how you can think Mudiay or Levine wouldn't help us.
